Case study
Lubbockscape,Lubbock, Texas
A landscaping company with a 25-page website and only one page in Google's index. This is what we found and what we built.
The starting point
A full website that Google had barely read
Lubbockscape is a landscaping company in Lubbock, Texas. Its website already had 25 pages covering its services. When we looked in Google Search Console, only one of those pages was in Google's index.
The causes were ordinary and easy to miss. Internal links pointed to page addresses ending in .html, which the server redirected to clean addresses, so every link on the site led through a redirect. The original pages had no canonical tags telling Google which address was the real one. And the only sitemap Google knew about was an old one from a previous version of the site.
The site also had no pages for the towns around Lubbock, and nothing that answered the question homeowners ask most often: what will this cost?
What we built
Four pieces of work, in order
- Indexing repairEvery internal link changed to the clean page address, canonical tags added to all original pages, and a redirect put in place for the old sitemap address.
- A new sitemapA sitemap of all 37 pages submitted in Search Console, with indexing requested for the homepage.
- Six town pagesWolfforth, Shallowater, Slaton, Idalou, Ransom Canyon and New Deal, each with its own page and linked from the site navigation and footer.
- Five cost guidesArticles giving typical market price ranges for the services Lubbock homeowners search for, plus a blog index to hold them.
- Local signalsA Google Maps embed on the home and contact pages, a service areas section in the navigation, and linked town names across the site.
Results
What we can say so far
This work was completed in late September 2026. Ranking and lead figures take months to mean anything, so we are not publishing any yet.
Done
The technical causes that kept the site out of Google's index are fixed, and the site has grown from 25 pages to 37.
Being measured
Pages indexed, map positions across Lubbock and the six towns, calls and form inquiries.
Next
More service and town pages, Google Business Profile activity and reviews.
When we will update
This page will be updated with measured results once there is enough data to report honestly.
